The 5400 Series of converts feature active power factor correction to better use oncoming power to increase load efficiency. This allows us to provide DC outputs of up to 75 amps on a 15 amp 120 VAC branch circuit. The 5490 requires a 20 amp 120 VAC circuit to provide a 90 ADC output.
